Greetings, my lovely, luscious, saucy ones. How I have missed you! It has been some time, as I have been rather busy as of late. But, here I am. Todays message is not for humor, but for a question. Rhion and b have been after me for some time now to record a bedtime story. But, how to choose? There are so many.
You see, my original intention for joining this group was to read stories aloud, as that is what I had been doing for Rhion and b privately, and they said that it was likely others would enjoy being treated to the same. So, join I did.
So, since there are so many stories out there, I ask of you to assist me. What would you like me to read? Please, as this will be the first of my bedtime stories reading sessions, something short would be best. No more than a seven thousand words stand alone. I'll leave the suggestions open for about a week, and then set the top three for a vote, yes?

Edit: It is also possible that I might simply pick stories at random from the Zevran tags... So far we have Ambush by kismet76 as a suggestion. However, that is the only one at the moment. So, as I said, the suggestions are currently open. The title, the author and the rating are what is required basically, so that anyone reading this knows which stories are being referenced. And then next week I shall put a vote on for the top three suggested stories.

Edit2 So far, only the one suggestion. In the interim while I wait for further suggestions (as I wish to make this something that can be voted on) I shall be reading twist_shimmy's Playtime. Some 'disturbing' humor always gets the balls rolling...

Are there more women modders for Dragon Age than men?

While recovering from this horrible bout of pneumonia it just dawned on me that it seems like more women mod for this game then.

I know the Dark Times crew are a mix of men and women and a few stand alone modules have been made by men, but some of the best game enhancements  have been done by women. I have female friends who have opened up the toolset and boosted their games by making pendants and other type of weapons.


It sure would be interesting to know the percentage of women who play this game.

Nothing earth-shattering, though I found the added information on the surface dwarves interesting. Hit the blog entry for some heraldry, and some frankly kind of scary pictures of the qunari.

Also, Lenna and I have switched the community to moderated membership for a couple of months to help us keep track of the membership surge we expect when the game comes out, so if you're getting friends to join, just let them know it's more for tracking purposes than an actual hoop to jump through.

Bryce Cousland for King?

I've seen several stories that refer to Bryce Cousland having been put forward as a candidate for the throne after Maric's death and I thought I had seen a reference to this in the DA wiki but I can't find it now :(  Is this canon or just an idea that people have picked up and used to the extent it seems like canon?

I am dropping by to spruik my ongoing fic which I am slowly getting out there. I tend to get easily distracted (ohhhh! shiny things), so I'm a bit slow in churning out chapters. Am sharing the love, anyways.
