Welcome, people of Thedas (THE Dragon Age Setting), to a place to share art, fic, mods, screenshots, and funny game-play stories. I'm your host, twist_shimmy, and please do contact me if darkspawn start raiding our southern border, okay?

First of all, the legal stuff: This is a fan community. We are not affiliated with BioWare, Dragon Age, or any of their employees. Characters and settings belong to BioWare, as do the images used to create the site's theme. Any fictional content here was created in the spirit of fun, and no money is being made from any of these works.

What is the community for?
If you like Dragon Age, sign up! Post and read fanfic, fanart, PC mod reviews, and participate in discussions. Talking is something we, uh, excel at here.



First, make sure you read the rules for cutting and tagging. Then, come join the madness. We promise we'll be gentle. Check it out.

Everything is welcome here, be it slash, gen, het, whatever, as long as you follow the rules and warn for anything that might be considered trigger-worthy. We also welcome requests for screencaps, icons, and manips, so those of you with .gif, 'shop, and gIMP skills can show off to your heart's content. Want to talk about how your friends just got you into DA? We're here to flail/commiserate. Just found a kitten under your porch and decided to name him Ser Pounce-a-Lot? Post photos, posthaste! Need beta testers for a mod? Chances are we've got someone who wants to help.

What sort of fanfic and art will I find here?
The goal of this community is to be inclusive as possible. To that end, we accept fanworks of all sorts. This does not mean you will come here looking for chibis and get a face full of c--k, however. Our members tag. Our members cut. This means that your attention and presence in the community can be a mild, medium, or spicy as you wish. Just remember that you get what you order and respect your fellow members, and everyone gets a fun playground to hang out on. A specific FAQ on this topic can be found here.


I was directed here from a Livejournal comm, but I don't have an account! What's this OpenID stuff, and how do I become a Dreamwidth member?
Updated 12/2011: Through December 31, 2011, codes are not required to create a Dreamwidth account!
Right now Dreamwidth is in beta, which means you want an invite code to join. Head to this thread right here and we'll hook you up. Otherwise, there's this handy thing called "OpenID." An OpenId account is free and will let you comment, watch communities, and have a reading page, so you can still participate over here. [Dreamwidth FAQ on how to set up OpenID.]

What are the rules?
We have three rules:
1. No wanking.
2. Mark all NSFW content as such, warn (see FAQ), and place behind a cut.
3. Have fun.
