My poor mother. What have I wrought?!

My Last 24 Hours (DA2 Spoilers)
Jun. 2nd, 2011 09:07 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
To sum up my last 24 hours...
( I just finished DA2 for the first time )
That was EXHAUSTING!
*****
UPDATE: I meta-gamed. But it's not cheating too much, because all I had to do was change two reactions in the Merrill (fuck her) quest.
So here's my new ending:
( I'm such a cheater and I don't care. )
Totally worth it.

Title: Between
Rating: K+? T? Ratings are hard. We'll say T for use of language, I guess.
Pairing: f!Hawke/Anders
Spoilers: Nothing explicit but read at your risk if you fear them.
Summary: Set between the Justice and Questioning Beliefs quests in Act 3.
( It's been a busy few days for Anders, but everything is nearly in place... )

(Related to this post and this one.)
The following is another e-mail I received from my father (who just bought Dragon Age). This one isn't as funny as "help, i am dead." but what can you do?
Subject: So much treachery!
Body text:
Who can you trust in this game? And we went to all that effort to light the signal fire!
He didn't even sign it. Hehehe.
**EDIT**
I should note that he's a Cousland.

('sequel' to this post)
The following is an e-mail I received from my father (who just bought Dragon Age) at 1:00 this morning:
Subject: help, i am dead
Body text:
i got killed in the game. but my dog and my mom (I think) are still alive. I need to talk with you about strategy in this game.
love ya,
dad
I can't stop laughing.
Goddamnit, Dad.

There's no justice in this world.

(Okay, there's Justice, but that's beside the point.)
I just discovered the Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition.
$32? $32?! Are you kidding me?
And do you know how I discovered this? My dad just built an incredible gaming computer all for himself. My dad is going to be playing DA:O and DA:A with all of the DLC for the first time on an amazing machine, while I desperately try to keep my three-year-old laptop from overheating.
When he inevitably starts sending me gorgeous screenshots taken at ridiculously high resolutions while playing on his obscenely large hi-def monitor, he'd better be glad that I live 5,000 miles away and thus cannot commit patricide without a great deal of time, effort, and financial expense on my part. (And if I had that kind of money, I'd be spending it on a new computer.)
Goddamnit, Dad.
P.S. New tag, use with caution.
