AN: I had meant to take all of last month to create chapter buffers for this month, as it is that time of year that is also known as "NaNoWriMo" (e.g - "Rhion Runs Around Like A Crazed Freak With Flaming Pants"), except then, well, le_monde kinda...threw a bunny, and well...well we've written well over a hundred thousand words. I think as of chapter sixteen it's more like a hundred fifty. In like two weeks. Oops? Plus there's my Hellboy fics... Chapter 15 of Guilded is about half done, but NaNoWriMo, weather kickin' my ass, husband quirkiness, and my other stories, it's a bit stalled. I know what needs to happen, what I want to write, etc, but the flow's been broken.

I have some questions, and I'd like to get ya'lls input. After all, I write for not just myself, but also for you guys.

So, my current posting schedule is like this:

Saturdays I post a single chapter, early in the morning (unless I oversleep), and it goes Murder -- Guild-ed -- CoSA -- Murder, and any oneshots or tiny series get thrown out whenever they are beta'd. As for the oneshots/mini-series, I also would like to know if ya'll would like those only once a week, or just a flood of them as they are completed.

I also want to know what characters are well-liked. In the comments, I'd love to hear thoughts on what it is you like about said characters and the stories, and things you wish were included, but aren't. This helps me better understand what it is you folks 'need' in the story, and where I might be failin'.

Series: Children of Shattered Arlathan 1/?

Disclaimer: Me no own, you no sue (though actually now that I think about it... I kinda do on this. Except any mentions of Arlathan and elvish that isn't Welsh-y.)
Summary: When the sun rises, it casts its golden rays upon the world. Even in the valleys, deep in the mountains, where those who abandoned their ancient forefathers’ ways still speak, and remember when Arlathan was great. And so, primitive they are, naught but the ragged edges of stone that their people once claimed, they live. Subsist. Honor is paid for in blood. Dishonor is paid for in meat.
AN: Annd..... I am insane. Yes, utterly. More codices are now needed, on the Ar’lath’an’len (children of Arlathen - which actually is directly translated into ‘Children of I Love This Place’ but whatever. That’s too clunky.) And yes, Eu’rai’ddvinnen is Zevran’s father. Aiesh. Not only that, but part of the story is begging for an au of itself. Dammit. Dammit, dammit, dammit. And still, I am paused on Guild-ed urf. Oh, and I’ll be blending Welsh with in-game elvish, and some overlap between those two languages, and my Zamas Ga’hals which is the language of the horseclans/Ga’hals Iunimasilsh. Can I get a heartfelt fuckity from ya’ll?
As usual translations will be contained within the story or at the bottom. Including for names, as well as their pronunciations.

Modesses, might I please have three tags? A series tag titled Children of Shattered Arlathan, and two OC tags, one for OC Fem, OC Male (though my actual preference would be for OC Zamitie and OC Nune/Eu'rai'ddvinnen, if that's possible?)

...I've created a flippin' language for the horseclans of flippin' Antiva. Yes. I am obsessive compulsive.
Zamas Ga'hals The list at the moment, is incomplete. I would say "Someone shoot me" but that'd be bad. I would like to finish stuff long before that would happen.

AN: Not much to say other than icy roads that are untreated are no fun. bellaknoti beta'd for which I'm grateful. Bossy GZ is bossy. Stubborn Mio is very stubborn. I is tired. Oh, and I was workin' on havin' a good chapter buffer, but apparently weather that is bad added to me means that I don't get much writing done. Yay :deadpans:

AN: My computer crashed. HARD. Very hard. Like titanium boner hard sort of crash in a very bad way. I lost almost eight thousand words worth of story and notes, that frankly if it hadn't been for bellaknoti I would be up the creek, sans paddles, and arms to use them if I had them. Basically, I'm in the habit of sending her large chunks of text via messenger (same with nagia, whom I used to reclaim my notes), that I was able to rebuild almost all of what I had lost. Really, just some tweaks etc, were lost from what I had given to bellaknoti, stuff to make certain passages a little more artistic... but trust me, if I had really lost all that, with no sort of backup anywhere... well... Guild-ed would probably stop right there, and never progress. I woulda been too upset by it. I don't handle loosing material very well at all. I become a grody, sobbing wreck, that not even karaoke singing ZG doing a little dance to White Town's Your Woman can even cheer me up.... and yes, that did happen. I did cheer up because I remembered I'd sent so much of chapter 4 to b, and was thus able to rescue Guild-ed from a horrid death.
Beta'd by bellaknoti, musing and random rambling aided by nagia, and also of course, zevguy also. Without support, this ball of fluffy color would have gone running for the hankies even more than what already occurred this morning. Even if none of the above were present during the wreck of black screen o'doom, their presences were felt. In very special ways. GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTERS IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!
