To promote the Sugar and Spice voting, and because I got sucked into writing a different series and put down 6 chapters in four days, this week's installment of Wings has been bumped to next week.

After writing so many chapters on this series, I got to discussing Lily's Zev with Rhion and Zevguy, and how he would have been different if the story went the other way. What if it was Lily who was the castaway, and Zevran who was the rescuer? Haha, just call me 'Lucy'. What's a 21st century girl to do in a place where the laws of physics don't always apply? Hmmm... Ah, still toast, only... Going the other direction is so, so much more dangerous.

I draw on a lot of Wings, so it is consistent mythology concerning her choices and her background; the story stands fine by itself, but there are parallels and references, as well.

So what say you, friends of mine? You want to see "A Fish Out of Water"?

And then I remember: any time Zev gets the chance to grab something that he wants me to wear, unless it's pyjamas, it's a dress. *sigh* Dammit. Time to go over to the girl side of the Force... at least sometimes. I guess. If I have to...

okay, so... i'm kinda...

wow, i'm an incurable fangirl. so, to make it easier for me to wander around in zev and lily's house, in my head, i... went and built it in the sims.

heh.

so i took a bunch of pix, mostly for my reference, but then i thought, you know... maybe other people might want to see what kind of place they inhabit. some of it, like the shop, is kinda sims-ized, but the layout of the house is right. i couldn't put in the mudroom, because of the limitations of the building tools, but i put the shower in out back, where it belongs.

the funny thing is, they are constantly making out, even when i'm trying to get them to do other things. they will just stop what they're doing and i'll have to go find them and make them stop so they can do things like eat. haha, and best of all, it's mostly initiated by him. true story. XD

also, for those who are interested, the house that they live in has a real-world analogue. here is the google map. it says hoquiam, for some reason, but it's actually in a town called pacific beach, right outside of moclips. last summer, i stayed in one of the houses on that street, just about four doors up, the little brown square on the right side of the road.
