Looking ahead!
Darlings, how would we like to handle DA2's release and minimize spoilers?
1) Sticky thread?
2) Cut and tag?
3) Both?
4) Other?
Let us know. (Oh hell, I'm going to have to completely redo our tags! This should NOT make me happy.)
Also, Lenna and I have switched the community to moderated membership for a couple of months to help us keep track of the membership surge we expect when the game comes out, so if you're getting friends to join, just let them know it's more for tracking purposes than an actual hoop to jump through.

People are going to want to start posting DA2 fics, art, specific focused discussions on characters/issues/plots, etc before long. I'm betting most of us have it preordered and, well, I can't wait to chatter incessantly about every little thing. I'm sure I'm not the only one. ;)
Not letting people post creative works for DA2 the same way they would for DAO would be kinda strange. That is, unless you want to keep the community DAO-focused instead of for the all-encompassing dragon age universe. That's cool and all, but maybe a sticky about that would be good, since the name is ambiguous.
A stickied thread at the top maybe for quick questions (hey I'm on quest x and can't get past point Y, any tips? etc) with a huge notice that all DA2 posts of any kind have to have a cut and spoiler warning. Maybe even a spoiler tag?
Two separate prompt threads for DAO/DAOA and DA2 in tentparty might be helpful, though. Especially with returning characters like Isabela, Merrill, and (I hope I hope I hope) Anders. Having the same characters across multiple games might end up confusing if the prompts weren't kept isolated from each other.

I personally think we should have an initial sticky thread for quick questions/squeeing and cut/tag individual posts as things slowly progress toward everyone being fairly far along.
We definitely need a spoiler tag and to outline the fact that you have to use it and clarify that your post contains material which might be a spoiler.

There will have to be a time limit for spoilers - say two months? People who didn't buy Awakenings until six/nine months after it came out coped just fine with spoilers.
It'll be pretty much impossible for people to put up a fic summary without some story information.
