Fine dwarven crafts - er, sketches! I mean sketches!

Lots of sketches within; since getting the scanner out and set up is a pain, I tend to accumulate a bunch before uploading.

Some history on this one; some years ago (too many!) I wrote an epic fanfic with characters from Knights of the Old Republic, starring my favorite character, Carth Onasi. Alas, I never finished the story, and he has fallen by the wayside - and obviously not happy about it.

Carth: Listen, buddy, don't think you're going to be sticking around all that long. You've gotta be at least a decade older than me, your hair's harder to draw, and so is your armor! Sooner or later, she's gonna come back to me and finish my story!

Varel: *puts on an innocent look, adjusts halo, shrugs helplessly*



Swiftrunner, in his human form, looking extremely disreputable - considering he's the leader of the Vigil's scouts.

Varel: Is that Nathaniel? That can't be Nathaniel, he looks too, too...
Elethea: Happy? Content? You're right, that can't be Nathaniel - it must be a doppelganger, a demon from the Fade!
Nathaniel: *glares* Shut. Up.



Why are they fighting? Why does Nathaniel look so pissed (but then, he always looks pissed)? You decide!



Elethea, playing the flute. Urgh, this didn't turn out that well, the arms are all wrong, and the hands... bleah. Note to self: Use a reference next time, idiot.



Elethea in formal regalia - all of which consists of a sash. At the time of this drawing, I did not come up with the idea of livery collars yet. Somewhere along the line, she got impatient with all the pomp and circumstance. Next to her is a picture of a throwing knife.

Yeah, I've been working on one, but it kinda stalled. The more I write about the two of them, the longer the stories seem to get. XD I've been distracted by writing an enclosing story for all the kink meme fills, which starts with a perhaps overly ambitious prologue of what Varel was doing during the Blight. Then I lost my mind and entered the fic swap contest... I think I bit off more than I can chew. XD I promise, after the fic swap piece is done, I'll go back to the smut.

Oh, definitely. Especially since one of the only screenshots I have of him smiling is him saying "I came here to kill you."

Maybe it's a candid sketch of him just after being reunited with Delilah?

That works. :) He also smiles, well, sneers, when you first talk to him and he's telling the PC he expected him/her to be ten feet tall with lightning bolts shooting out of his eyes.

Thank you! I must admit, I feel more comfortable drawing fight scenes than fluffy ones - I cannot for the life of me draw two people kissing; there's something about their jaws and noses that just eludes me. :(
