Bryce Cousland for King?

I've seen several stories that refer to Bryce Cousland having been put forward as a candidate for the throne after Maric's death and I thought I had seen a reference to this in the DA wiki but I can't find it now :(  Is this canon or just an idea that people have picked up and used to the extent it seems like canon?

Edited to fix tripewriting.

I believe it's canon, although I can't exactly provide you a reference. Someone will though!

It was on the wiki, but now I can't find it. I thought it was on the Bryce Cousland wiki page, but it may have been edited. I saw it there just a few weeks ago.

It was edited a few days ago for some reason. Here's the revision history:

According to the text opening for the human noble origin:

Born to wealth and power second only to royalty, you find your training in both diplomacy and war put to the test when your father's castle is betrayed from within on the very night your elder brother leads the family's forces to war.

Perhaps this is where people got the idea? And probably from the DA Wiki.

Dairran says it in the Human Noble Origin

I looked it up in the toolkit and here's the relevant lines:

PC:
What have you heard about me, exactly?

Dairren:
Everyone says that you're more likely to succeed the teyrn than your brother is. That the Cousland line has never been stronger.
I don't know about here, but outside your castle, people discuss your family a great deal. Some say your father should have been king instead of Cailan.

Wow! I don't remember seeing that conversation. I guess I got right to the seduction every time. :p

I think it's worth noting that it's the rank of teryn that's "second only to the king" and not the family itself. Since Ferelden doesn't seem to have a strictly hereditary monarchy (Alistair has to win approval from the Landsmeet), it's not really logical to assume that Couslands would automatically be in line for the throne. I know this is a minuscule point, but it's one that I often see overlooked. :)
