This is a play-by-post roleplay based on the BioWare game, Dragon Age, most specifically revolving around the plot of Dragon Age 2. It follows Hawke's adventures through Kirkwall as he rises to champion, taking place right after the Hawkes have reached Kirkwall. Both original and canon characters are accepted. These characters will have their own impact upon the plot and may even change its course.


We currently have a few minor canon characters left, and we love OC's. I'm one of your friendly moderators, and everyone's favorite Knight Commander. Feel free to ask any questions. We're an amazingly fun group, the canon characters are incredibly well played, and for only having been open a week or so, we're steamrolling along. Notes: Post-game. This chapter in particular has a lot of Orlesian. All of the Orlesian lines have a linked footnote, or you can choose to read it as is - Zevran certainly doesn't understand what's being said, after all. :)

The title translates to, literally, cut the pear in two - an idiom for compromise, or meeting halfway. All the "Orlesian" in the fic is being translated by Adrienne and IrishLassie. All the "Antivan" is courtesy of smaragdina.
