hi from another new kid!

I'm jamz, a long-time lurker of the LJ kmeme who is finally emerging from reclusive lurkdom to join in on all the fun. I'm a grad student in California, studying sociology and feminist studies, and attempting to churn out a MA thesis so I can move on to my dissertation. In my off-time, I scribble stories that cannot be read by children, but because I am a theory-head, I am likely to overthink my porn. I haven't written anything DA:O specific just yet, but I've had a few ideas swirling around that I've been dying to get onto paper, so I'm hopefully I can get into gear! It'll be a good break from the thesis, at any rate.

In no particular order, I am quite fond of cheese, shoes, fancy-girl cocktails, electronic music, and, of course, DA:O and video games in general. Excited to be here!

A Tribute to Dragon Age's Non Playable Characters!

Its time for a tribute to all the hot NPCs we loved and wished we could play with. Dragon Age Origins was so full of pixelated hotness and at least we have fan fiction for our fantasies!

No, really. I have a lot of it.  Also a lot of M!Amell love, but it's hard to write him without Zev involved somehow.

Chains: The Archdemon defeated, the Blight ended, a dysfunctional family drifts apart, and in breaking finds many of them were closer than they realized. A series of shorts dealing with the immediate aftermath of the Blight and the breaking of the party.  Rated M

Nations and Ages: Arldom took more from the Warden than fighting the Blight ever did, including his lover. To close the distance between them he will scorch in magic a path from Ferelden to Antiva, and they will paint the streets of Antiva City red with the blood of Crows.  Post-Awakening, sequel to Chains, rated M

Broken Links: Snippets from the Warden's life (most of which feature Zevran).  Rated M

Crowfight!: Zevran's first mission after becoming a fully fledged Crow assassin goes terribly awry when he runs into another Crow with a different mark in the same place... and those long golden locks get him into trouble.  Rated T

Dalish Storm: is made of Zev porn.  Very M rated.
