alias_sqbrI am sqbr alias alias_sqbr, and since I tend to switch characters every fanwork or two am very glad to have another general DAO comm to post to. I'm an ex-mathematician from Australia with a short attention span, a soft spot for the underappreciated and an odd sense of humour.
I make art, comics and fic which tend to be humourous and gen-ish (everything here is fairly sfw). I was pondering whether or not to make an intro post then decided that this comm needs more stuff about the fine NPC ladies of Thedas, and they are the focus of many of my works.
My series (generally mixing prose and art):
Various attempts at romance in Dragon Age: Origins A somewhat fictionalised account of my characters' attempts to find love in the computer game Dragon Age: Origins and how it all went horribly wrong.
The further adventures of Rica and Martya Brosca Two dusters trying to make their way in the world. Rica&Anora and f!Brosca/Alistair plus incidental pairings.
The Urthemiel series Started out as cracktastic Zevran/m!Amell/Morrigan, ended up a slightly more serious exploration of what it would be like to bring up an Old God in human form.
The Morrigan and Leliana series Starts with the fairly humourous story of Morrigan and Leliana being attracted to each other despite themselves, ends with a fairytale-ish Urthemiel/Endrin Aeducan quest story. Of all my rare pairings, I think this last is the one I feel most confident noone else has written :D

Alistair in Dragon Age 2

She got the impression while its not as much as Dragon Age Origins, that its slightly bigger than the Awakenings cameo.
I wonder if he did stuff based on the three ending scenario, drunk Alistair, King Alistair or Warden Alistair. I wonder how the character will look in Dragon Age 2.

hi, i'm pockets, and i love dragon age. i'm 25, from the bay area, and i'm also a dude, which i am told is uncommon in these sorts of communities. I'm not much of a writer, let alone a fic writer, so much of what i'll be contributing will be in the form of various doodles and scribbles. (although i must warn you that the tablet and i have only recently been reintroduced and we are not the best of friends.)

i am really pleased to see that there is such a thriving community of creative types dedicated to the game, and i am looking forward to seeing all the fantastic things you'll be posting here.
