There's always such a lot of fuss about Halloween at this time of year, but here in the UK it is closely followed by Bonfire Night.

We all know that Mabari are intelligent and that they bond with their human partners. How would a Mabari react to getting the news that her partner was dead? Would she have sensed her partner's passing? In the case of Adria, would her Mabari know what was happening to her? I looked at these questions, made some decisions and wrote the following drabble.
