Title: Death and the Mabari
Rating: PG 13 for discussion of character death

We all know that Mabari are intelligent and that they bond with their human partners. How would a Mabari react to getting the news that her partner was dead? Would she have sensed her partner's passing? In the case of Adria, would her Mabari know what was happening to her? I looked at these questions, made some decisions and wrote the following drabble.

( The Mabari the Wardens found in the Vigil's basements had been in bad shape.... )
