Title: Sour Times (Chapter Twelve)

Summary: Culture shock? I think I'm beginning to understand the meaning of the term. Now that we are both somewhat mobile, we'll have to make some plans as to where we go from here. I certainly no longer feel anything close to safe, even if I am still in the Warden compound, but at the same time, where in Antiva would it be safe? What is safety? I doubt I'll ever feel it again. But I can't look backward now. I have to keep running forward, fast as I can, and just pray that we don't fall. And in the meantime? We need some allies.

scarylady is very awesome, and fixes all the injustices and horrible liberties I take with the language without even meaning to.

1smut_princess keeps me sane and pokes holes in my plot for me.
