why i've been missing this week )

tl;dr: bad things happened to my baby, but he's okay now. 'wings of the storm crow' is on hiatus indefinitely while i deal with it, but 'a fish out of water' has, like, a ten chapter buffer, so i'll keep posting that for a while.

Old Roads

Title: The Canticle of Demons [ff.net | AO3 | full text under the cut]
Rating: K+
Word Count: 1900
Spoilers: None
Summary: A dissonant verse. "You do not understand us, mortals./Listen./We will sing of what is."

Author's Note: This is the Canticle I've been using as for epigraphs on Pitiless Games, put together in order. This and my story "But A Sword" more or less are the foundations of the AU-ness of the Old Roads version of Thedas. And I *think* this is the last of the Old Roads-related flotsam I'm going to post. :)

Then the mortals came, and brought/with them death and sorrow beyond care's lonely count )

So I felt like doodling today and had this kicking around in my noggin. It's not the best....I've said it before, I can't draw.

My husband gives me a bad time about reading smutty DA stories so I took that inspiration and decided to poke fun at myself. The one drawing is out of place but I didn't know how to do a surprised/panicky look so YouTubed it.

Enjoy!

Dragonmod here!

I'm not dead! Expect a bit of maintenance happening behind the scenes, as well as a post I've been meaning to get live for a while coming soon.

For the record, we're no longer considering DLC spoilerrific, especially now that we're in the dry spell between DLCs and the new DA game.

Thanks darlings!
