Fantastic Prompts and Where to Find Them

Soooo the general consensus around the comm is that we want MORE FICS and MORE REGULARLY. Until now we've had a kind prompting system that was basically whenever you get the urge to prompt, PROMPT, which is GREAT and certainly something I don't want us to stop - but it would also be nice to have a more regular prompting schedule so that someone like me who is slavishly addicted to writing prompts can get her rocks off by responding to and of course, reading and looking at many many prompts.

After some discussion we've thought it would be a great idea to have SEASONAL prompts which are organised like the astoundingly successful V-Day fic exchange was arranged, as a competition (if people wish to participate), with shiny prizes and voting and anonymous posting and so on. Four of these per year, with a specific prompt per quarter. Participants would have a month or so to write their entries and submit them.

Also, once a month, a small prompt without prizes or anonymous posting or things that require, you know, WORK on my behalf which will happen on a roster system which I want volunteers for! So if you want to volunteer to prompt, please respond in the comments and I will take down your names and numbers and go to your house and kill you remind you when it's time for you to do your monthly prompt.

Ok, there's been a little confusion here. Let me try to clarify. What I'm asking for is a list of people who would be willing to provide a prompt for fic/art on a monthly basis. So, if you want to BE A PROMPTER:

Respond to this in a comment saying "I WOULD LIKE TO PROMPT".
I'll put your name on a list with anyone else who wants to do give out prompts (not respond to them, necessarily!)
Each month I'll prod you gently and say "It's your turn to provide a prompt"
You'll give me the prompt.
I'll post it as the monthly prompt.
People can then respond to it or not as the mood takes them...

Am I less confusing now? *hopeful look*.

Okay, kidlings, we're gonna go ahead and set you all free to post Dragon Age 2-related things now that the sticky has nearly 400 comments. Please follow the rules below:

• Use the spoilers: dragon age 2 tag if needed.
• Cut. When in doubt, cut. Not sure if it's a spoiler? Cut.
• Did I mention cut? I'm mostly emphasizing this to be a brat-- you guys are awesome at this and it's going to be amazing.
