She’ll stop the Blight to protect her family, Caerwyn will help--grumbling all the while--and Alistair will do his best to bond with his tattooed and bristly new brethren. When all is said and done, the blurred lines between friendship and blood bonds will draw them down a path that will change all three of them forever.

In this installment, our three Wardens do some bonding and Caerwyn finds another reason to hate magic.

A Question for you Artists

I have NO artistic skill whatsoever, however I have been assured that it is possible to learn how to draw so I've decided to try. How did you start out? Pens, paper, pencil? Did you do standard basic skills before establishing your own style? I'm planning on going the traditional route seeing as really I'm starting from ABSOLUTE scratch - no skills, no lessons, no ability whatsoever (my stick figures don't even look like stick figures). I'm just interested in whether it was something you could always DO or if you actively set out to learn...

This is relevant to the community because I've been so inspired by all the art in this fandom and eventually (probably a few years away, I know) I'd like to be able to contribute in images as well as words :).

Looking For a Beta of Sorts

I'm working on a bit of a fic right now, and needless to say I fear I'm kind of losing control of the situation.  My ideas have been sporatic at best for the past few months, yet this whole scenario just WON'T leave me be.  I'd like an outside party to take a look at it and see if they can tell me what parts to clip or what needs fixing/editing. 

It's not done yet, but I can tell you that it's Alistair/Cousland specific, with implied Zevran/Leliana.  Nothing rated above PG at this point, though that can likely change later on.  It's post-Origins, and a little post-Awakening as well, if that helps.  Nothing real dramatic, so to speak, just a bit of entertainment/fun/fluff and all that.

More detail can be given once interest is expressed, I don't want to bore everyone with the details here XD
