I hate Bhelen, I hate Harrowmont, I hate Ruck. I especially hate Branka, and Hespith steals a chunk of my soul every time she turns away and doesn't let me put her out of her misery. I hate the carta, because they always die spread-eagled, facing my screen, and Jarvia has "plans" for my female Wardens. (My males were insulted that no plans were had for them.)

Then I gave in to peer pressure and made my Aeducan. Holy crap. She has more attitude than all of my other Wardens combined, and is a bigger schemer than Evie was. I ACTUALLY get to order the murder of other people! It's canon! :D

My Dalish occasionally narrows her eyes, and my Cousland always looked rather... startled. She managed sad a couple of times, too. But this Aeducan has me enamored with her disdain. I want her to go forth and kill people and also sleep with them and then make that FACE.

Though if I ever wrote a fic with her involved, I think she'd kill Gorim, and that makes me sad.

New motto: OMG AEDUCANS, FUCK THE CARTA.

I just got to the Dead Trenches. Fuck the fucking dwarves and the fucking Deep Roads. Mira's giving serious consideration to blowing Orzammar up, because with the exception of Dagna, who is MADE OF AWESOME, everyone there pretty much sucks.

But Aeducans are kinda cool.

The Dead Trenches are where I left my will to live on my first three playthroughs. I ended up putting on an audiobook, lowering the difficulty to easy, and just BURNING THROUGH DARKSPAWN.

i just made an Aeducan, and Maker's BREATH I have had so much fun with her. Her attitude is going to get her in serious trouble with Alistair and Wynne, but she'd going to get along FAMOUSLY with Morrigan.

OMG LOL!!!!! This is exactly how I feel about Orzammar! I figured maybe the reason they all act like morons is because they are so close to the darkspawn all the time. Unfortunately, my next story is set there, but my Warden hates them as much as we do! Except for Oghren of course--he's always good for a laugh. :)

Going back to Orzammar to do post-Blight politics versus Bhelen is truly terrifying.

My writing has slowed to a crawl because every time I PoV Alistair he gets so tense I hurt all over in 20 minutes flat. The poor lambkin.

Word! I've made it to end game with one of my *counts* seven chars (all human or elf), all the other's are stuck outside Orzammar. I loathe dwarven politics, Dust Town and the Carta and positively everything in the Deep Roads.

But you say there's a cure? Perhaps I should overcome my racial prejudice here and actually start a tough cookie dwarf. Could be interesting...

It has made the rest of the city marginally more tolerable. Because now I have an insider's perspective, and I can look at characters and go "I COULD KILL YOU ON MY AEDUCAN, YOU KNOW."

Ruthless Aeducans are awesome. I just started one a few weeks back and damn. Between ordering the murder of others, bitching people out, pissing off the brothers, and only speaking through Gorim to people of the underclass - it's definitely one of my favorite origins and makes me want to play through enough of the game to get back to Orzammar. It would almost make the slog of the deep roads worth it.

I think I'd be fine with Orz if the Deep Roads weren't tacked on after it. Recently I've done this "Do a stage of Orz, now go and clear another zone, back to Orz, clear another zone, more Orz, Haven, Orz!"

I don't know. I'm still a little snooty when it comes to the dwarves. I mean dwarves are kind of like children. They're tiny, funny sometimes, and you can't help but love them a smidge, but you only ever want to deal with your own for any great measure of time. I kid, I kid... sort of.

*prepares to get shot* I LOVE Orzammar & The Deep Roads and pretty much everything about that treaty. I always do a little dance of joy when I get there with a char. Also, Aeducans and Broscas rock almost as much as Suranas.

I love playing Broscas. Going from Duster to the Hero of Ferelden is pretty much The Greatest Story Ever Told. Plus nobody but nobody loves Duncan as much as my Brosca. Seriously, just play through the origin once and see how amazing he is.

All of my other origins side-eyed Duncan pretty heavily. Especially my Dalish, who really did just want to lay down and die with her clan. But to Brosca? The sun rose out of his ass.

I've seen a Brosca origin. He's So. Damned. Polite. He's really polite to Aeducans, too, but she didn't care. XD Not quite as awesome as him STALKING MY SURANA, but I love it.

Seriously, though. All my Dalish have a death-wish. Especially when I got to Haven BEFORE the shriek attack....
