I hate Bhelen, I hate Harrowmont, I hate Ruck. I especially hate Branka, and Hespith steals a chunk of my soul every time she turns away and doesn't let me put her out of her misery. I hate the carta, because they always die spread-eagled, facing my screen, and Jarvia has "plans" for my female Wardens. (My males were insulted that no plans were had for them.)

Then I gave in to peer pressure and made my Aeducan. Holy crap. She has more attitude than all of my other Wardens combined, and is a bigger schemer than Evie was. I ACTUALLY get to order the murder of other people! It's canon! :D

My Dalish occasionally narrows her eyes, and my Cousland always looked rather... startled. She managed sad a couple of times, too. But this Aeducan has me enamored with her disdain. I want her to go forth and kill people and also sleep with them and then make that FACE.

Though if I ever wrote a fic with her involved, I think she'd kill Gorim, and that makes me sad.

New motto: OMG AEDUCANS, FUCK THE CARTA.

Aw, honey, no. I was playing along. :) You brought up ganking, and I flashed back to being ganked and vomited on my keyboard, and it's all good!

(My main was a level 70 resto druid. I got ganked a lot.)

I love playing Broscas. Going from Duster to the Hero of Ferelden is pretty much The Greatest Story Ever Told. Plus nobody but nobody loves Duncan as much as my Brosca. Seriously, just play through the origin once and see how amazing he is.

All of my other origins side-eyed Duncan pretty heavily. Especially my Dalish, who really did just want to lay down and die with her clan. But to Brosca? The sun rose out of his ass.

I've seen a Brosca origin. He's So. Damned. Polite. He's really polite to Aeducans, too, but she didn't care. XD Not quite as awesome as him STALKING MY SURANA, but I love it.

Seriously, though. All my Dalish have a death-wish. Especially when I got to Haven BEFORE the shriek attack....

I've done that a few times, too. I'm astonished no-one has done skip the Deep Roads. I suppose cos there are a few quests down there, but really you don't have to make any serious choices until Caradin.

I'm really, really happy with how she turned out. It seems like all the dwarves I make get these cute little faces and end up looking like chunky elves. I wanted her to really look like a more stereotypical dwarf with really heavy, strong features, and give her a resemblance to her mother and sister.

My mages who don't betray Jowan feel pretty much the same way about him, but yeah, Duncan is the best thing to ever happen to a Brosca. For Brosca Duncan is better than the ancestors, every paragon, and an extra helping of nug for dinner all rolled into one.

I thought about it and made a list of things that would need to be incorporated. A lot of the problem is how the Deep Roads are constructed vs. the Fade. The Fade is like its own house, with each boss having its own room, but the Deep Roads is kind of like partitioning off a park path. It's a lot harder to zone someone in to a boss on a fucking park path.

I was unkillable if I survived the first two blows. Pissed off no small number of 'locks.

See, I played alliance. Hiding a gnome rogue inside of a druid in bear form is amazing fun.

Hee, nooo. It means the druid is a mid-level healer acting as bait and the gnome rogue is IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE until it's too late.

Also works well with gnome warriors. Good times. :3

This is how it broke down:

Mahariel: hated Duncan. Wanted to die. Never forgave him.
Cousland: Really angry about being torn away from her parents. Understood the necessity, still bitter.
Aeducan: Didn't really care about him one way or the other, so long as she got the fuck out of the Deep Roads
Amell/Surana: Not too thrilled about the whole thing, but he's getting them out of the Tower and it doesn't involve Aeonar or death, so, he's ok in their book.
Tabris: AAAAH MY COUSIN MY FIANCE AHHHH ok if I go with him that means they can't hang me ok that's fine AAAAHHHH
Brosca: Duncan is the greatest man to ever walk the earth.

He's the first person in her life to ever speak to her with respect <3
