Time to meta game so I can have an ending where I didn't have to kill Fenris. I know it's cheating, but I can't take it!

UPDATE: I meta-gamed. But it's not cheating too much, because all I had to do was change two reactions in the Merrill (fuck her) quest.

What gets me most is that for all her talk about "saving the clan", her obsession was about HER being the one to restore the lost glory of the elves. It certainly wasn't an accident that the demon she contacted was a Pride demon.

I freely admit I metagamed that one, and had Julian give the one answer that would allow him to avoid genocide.

I hated her for her selfishness and idiocy. No Dalish (except maybe Zathrian) would risk their clan like that, and both Dalish PCs I played (Caerwyn included) plus Tesni died a little inside. My attachment to the Dalish made the whole thing excruciating for me. I think if I metagame I might be able to avoid killing them. That would make me feel a lot better. Sigh.
