UPDATE: I meta-gamed. But it's not cheating too much, because all I had to do was change two reactions in the Merrill (fuck her) quest.

It's just like the game to give us the hope of something that would fix it all and then kill it. =( Thrask's explanation of how the relationship between mages and templars should be made me want to stand up and cheer.

Best man I ever knew, phooey. Your bloody best man was RAISING THE UNDEAD and flinging them at us without even trying to talk. And even after that I lied through my teeth, with Thrask, so you could get away. Fuck Grace with a rusty pitchfork indeed!!! I can't believe she accuses us of sending the Templars after her after all that. ARGH.
