Danarius...not that bright, actually
I mean, really:
He apparently doesn't know that Fenris has been boffing the Champion? Actually, that's not entirely his fault, since it was THREE YEARS AGO and A HAWKE HAS NEEDS.
But still, he shows up at the Hanged Man, also known as Hawke Hangout South, with a group of C-List slavers who are yelling about the pretty ones while Hawke shoots Hail of Arrows from hisass neverending quiver and goes and orders a drink while he waits for the second wave.
Meanwhile, Fenris's sister is standing in the corner, and manages not to get singed by any of the Molotov cocktails I'm tossing around the strangely-empty bar.
And then, I'm really kind of wrong, because I'm imagining Danarius watching the fight from his bubble, and seeing Merrill and thinking, "Wow...she's kind of hot."

Jeremy, reading this over my shoulder, has pointed out that the denizens of the Hanged Man are survivors through and through. He's painted a mental picture for me of the Andersen shelters built under the tables, to which they all run at the first sign of trouble, taking their drinks with them. And of the asbestos blinds that they pull down, just in case.

This actually reminds me: We should all e-mail or chat or something about our Statute of Limitations on spoilers for DA2. For example, should we set an end date at three months after release, etc? I know I have no right to complain about spoilers if it's been six months since the game came out ;)

This is sheer genius.
Oh, Denarius. *shakes head*
