"One of the most oft-repeated criticisms of the game was its reuse of environments, and one of the first points on the official site is that players will be leaving the all-too-familiar city of Kirkwall for entirely new sites and locales. The setting this time around includes an "ancient Grey Warden prison" that the player and party must investigate after coming under attack by a criminal group hunting protagonist Hawke's bloodline.

Legacy focuses on Hawke's father (who was not in the original game) - and the way that the BioWare site mentions the "harsh truth about the Hawke lineage," it's a safe bet that Hawke won't like what s/he finds in the prison."

That does sound like an interesting plot. Someone hunting down Hawke's blood? Hmmmm! Grey Warden prison?!? Is that where they put the naughty Grey Wardens?

The thing that's exciting me the most? 800 points! That's BIG. Bigger than Stone Prisoner. Unless it's just more expensive and crap. In which case I'll be annoyed. BUT I HAVE HOPE AND FAITH. BECAUSE I AM AN ETERNAL OPTIMIST.

You'll have to let those of us who are dubious and/or more tightfisted if it's worth buying! I'm too suspicious of it to buy it outright.

I shall post a review. But I am also notorious at seeing the best of everything bioware, so I'll warn people of that first... or I don't know... actually TRY to find things I don't like :D

Seriously, they had Anders in it. In Vengeance mode. As far as I'm concerned it's worth 800 points already. (I AM A TERRIBLE CONSUMER I ADMIT IT)

*grins* This is also the reason they had Varric in there, I'm sure. I heard that Bethany and Carver's VAs did work for this too, which makes me happy because I LOVE ME MY CARVER :D

I'm going to buy it, because I'm like that, but I'm going in with a fair amount of skepticism. I was disappointed by most of the Origins DLC, extremely disappointed with Awakening, and gave DA2 a B-/C+ grade. Between my review and Miri's is probably going to be accurate.

I was mediocre on this... until I watched the trailer. Now I am VERY interested in what I'm seeing. I will wait for a review however, as spending money is little to none right now. Sodding bills.

Can't wait for this to be released, to be honest. Especially after watching the gameplay demo on BiowareTV. No waves? Interact-able traps? Characters making unique comments? DO WANT.
