Games people play...

Slightly off topic, but I'm curious about what other games everyone loves, since I suspect there's a lot of overlap... (and because if we have one loved game in common this could be a good way to introduce each other to new games we might enjoy just as much.)

Inspired in part by twist_shimmy, since I was up until FIVE AM the other night mainlining her fantastic Oblivion fic.

and wow, I'm a little in awe of your list of games.

I bought Oblivion on the strength of someone's "If you like DA, you'll love Oblivion" suggestion but I can't figure out the interface, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do, and I don't seem to be interacting correctly with the people on the screen, so I'm playing through Originas for the mumble-th time instead.

Bethesda games all pretty much work the same... if you've played Morrowind, Oblivion, or Fallout III you can pick up any other of them and figure out where your inventory is, what button makes you kill things, and what button makes you run.
It's just getting there that's the trouble.

And, in a big way, they are really better on the PC. Not in terms of appearance, but just because there's SO MANY BUTTONS it's a lot easier with a mouse and full keyboard than just a controller.
