We've been open for a week, and I thought I'd post and share some stats that are just making me-- okay, I'll be honest. They're making me gape. Every time I have noticed one of these I have gone :o because you all are turning this into so much more than I'd even wanted to hope for!

Stats!

• 50 subscribers, most of whom appear to have been directed here by scarylady, our one-woman People of Thedas Auxiliary Club.
• 17 intro posts. Thanks to lenna_nightrunner and elysium_fic for starting this trend.
  
• 85 journal entries in one week. They've covered art, fic, gameplay, modding ideas, you name it.
• 1590 comments and counting.
• The most commentary received was 148 comments on a single post.
• The Alistair tag has been used 27 times.
• The Zevran tag has been used 16 times.
• Our most popular PC, according to tags, is the f!Tabris.

Conclusion!

So I'm sitting here, sipping my coffee, analyzing this data, and coming to a conclusion:

WE ARE RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME.

And because we are ridiculously awesome, I declare the next few days to be Zevran Love Days! There's already a lot of Zev-love here, but if you've been meaning to post art, prompts, or fic that is Zev-related, let this be your cue to do so.

Caveat: We're the People of Thedas. You can post stuff even if it's NOT Zev-related, but if you want to participate in the Antivan Love-In, have at it. :D

For the Zevran love-in I'm 1.2k words into my next porn instalment.

Regarding a kinkmeme; I've been thinking about this. Do we need a kink thread, or can we just post our kink prompts the same as any other prompts? I think the latter would be lovely, making it a full part of the comm, rather than some smutty back-street sex shop, but it depends if there are people here who would genuinely want to prompt anonymously. If we are all happy to either (a) be out and proud or (b) use a sock, then why have a thread?

Personally, I would find it easier to have a specific thread dedicated to the kink-meme-esque prompts, just because I would know where to find a prompt if I didn't have time to work on it right away but wanted to come back to it later. I'm afraid that prompts will get lost in the scroll if they just appear as individual posts on the comm.

I suppose a special tag could help with that problem, perhaps.

I see your point, but then again, that's a concern I have about prompts in general.

Personally all of my small smut attempts have been more along the lines of (c) too artsy-fartsy to tell what the hell just happened or (d) out and ashamed (still new to this business). So I wonder if being able to use a sock would make me more inclined to go down and dirty.

On the other hand, there'd probably be no point because it would be some artsy 400 word thing that covers two years and angst, so everyone would be like I AM GUESSING THAT IS DECA'S SOCK, so yeah, ignore me.

Freak flag: I guess I'm flying it, given how seldom I post stories that AREN'T sexy. (Y'all don't know how much raunchier the early stuff would have been if I'd known there would be community tolerance for it.
