Cool Tool for writers (and others)

I write on a few different computers and I found something awesome! It's called Dropbox.com and it allows you to store up to 2GB for free. It creates a folder/shortcut on your system that lets you open the dropbox from anywhere you've installed the software. So you can store your stories there and open them on any computer! Yay! You can also share folders with others. They also keep copies in case you stupidly delete everything like I did. I believe everything is also backed up.

Check it out!

I just started using Dropbox for work since I do a bunch of stuff for my old bosses who are 1000 miles away. We can sync all of our work documents so I can work on something and then they can access it.

A good alternative to that is also Google Documents, which is what Shimmy and I use. It's a bit different, obviously, but you can do chat while writing/editing simultaneously and share documents. Both are great!

This looks really handy; I'm definitely going to give it a try. Thanks for the heads up!
