DA: Inquisition E3 trailer up

Morrigan's back, clearly, though I'm not sure if she's just doing the narration. Varric appears as well, and it looks like the Veil is completely ripped open. So there's that. The talk has been that they're going to make it open world, like Skyrim, which...is interesting. Not sure how that'll work with Bioware's storytelling style, but on the other hand, I logged my 1000th hour in Skyrim last month. I even put it down and came back to it, something I only do with DA2 when I need to confirm a bit of dialogue.

I do wonder if we're going to get some actual resolution to plot threads this time. I don't care if my Warden and Hawke ever show up again--I'd almost rather they just continue on in my completely non-canon reality--but I'd kind of like to know what the hell happened to them, at least. Hopefully with the release date not for more than a year, it won't be the incomprehensible mess that Act III of DA2 turned into.

Same here. I really want to get excited about it, but I can't manage more than "ooooh, looks pretty cool... so far".

At least it looks good enough that I'm comfortable crossing my fingers and looking forward to seeing more gameplay footage :)

I couldn't bear to get invested for the next year and a half and then get smacked in the face with something really egregiously bad. Like, "We had time to make four different humanoid species, but we only made female models for the ones we thought straight dudes would most like to penetrate." Frex. Maybe that bothered other people less than me.
