I Love These Memes Even Though They Don't Mean a Thing

If you could get just one non-player character (not a companion) from one of the previous games to appear as a companion in Dragon Age 3, which one would it be? I know it's a silly game to play, and I know that we have no influence or say in what the game will be like, but I enjoy discussing this so much. For some reason, this topic never gets old for me.

My first choice for a companion would probably be Charade Amell, because I have an inexplicable fondness for her and I feel like we only got to see a tiny bit of her story. She could be so much more fun/interesting, she has such potential! Of course I have a huge list of NPCs and companions that I'd be thrilled to see as cameos or quest-givers, but Charade is my first choice for a companion.

Although, who knows? Maybe someone's comment will convert me to a new favorite.

The Arishok! Failing that perhaps Maraas (the Tal-vashoth who appears in the Hanged Man in DA2 as a mercenary)

Oh my goodness, Charade is definitely at the top of my list. I loved her for how little we got to see her, so if she came back in 3 I'd be over the moon. The only other one that's jumping to mind is Connor. I'd love to see how he turned out if you spared him in Origins.

I tried to think of someone else, since I feel like my first choice is a bit obvious, but it really does have to be Cullen. I really want to see more of his story and I think he'd make a good companion in DA3, based on what we know about it already.

Charade is top of my list, as well. If only because it would be weird at this point to play a Dragon Age game that didn't have some connection to the Amell family!

What a choice to have to make... hrmm... I'd have to say that from DA:O it would be interesting to see Jowan again, and from DA2 I very much like Feynriel (plus, super-intriguing powers).

Varel. There, I said it. Or oh oh - Keeper Lanaya. Yeah, I could go for that.

OOO, how about you sweetheart? The desire demon from the tower, with or without her Templar

And while we're on the subject of demons and their humans, why not Wade and Herrin?

I want...hrm...

Just so you know, I have a helpful little...no, he's not a bird, more of a zombie hubby, who is requesting Goldanna, that merchant in Lothering who wanted to put poisoned traps on his land, the Chasind who kept shouting 'We're doomed!', and the ghost of the chicken that Shale stomped when leaving Haven.

Me, I wanted to know more about that dwarven merchant who I kept running into at the crossroads interrupting my travels. He was grumpy, and you know how much I like grumpy.

Oh oh! the sister who cried for her brother in Lothering! With the green blade! The boy could be old enough to be that mighty warrior!

You two are silly :D!although I always want to see more of Gorim, from the noble dwarf Warden's intro, His/Herfriend/lover who becomes a merchant and finds a girl even though I practically race to get to him. Nearly made my poor Warden cry.
