I Installed DA2, and...

The preset slider on the chargen page isn't working. It's lit up and I can move it, but nothing happens. So, right now I'm stuck with the first default fem!Hawke. She's very pretty and uses a hair/skin/eye color combination that I like, but I still want to be able to change her looks. I've also installed the Black Emporium, and the presets don't work there either. Please, please, please! Help meeeeee! (Internet cookies if you get the movie reference.)

Uninstall and reinstall it? That would be my first suggestion. Though I seem to remember not being able to make alterations to the default presets anyway--have you tried the sliders on the others?

It isn't that I can't alter the default presets. I knew about that. It's that I can't choose any presets at all. When I move the preset slider, nothing happens.

I hoping, perhaps in vain, to avoid the whole install/reinstall thing.

Ah, got it, should've read more carefully. Unfortunately, un-/reinstall is the only think I can think of if rebooting or just starting a new save doesn't fix it... I've only played it on PS3 so far, or I'd try to troubleshoot in more detail. Hmm. Do you have the most recent patch? I don't recall seeing this issue listed in the fixes, but it's worth a shot.
