I Miss Our Community

I miss checking in every day to see what new madness has erupted in PoT. I miss the discussions and the fic and the art. I miss getting reviews and comments when I post rather than the sound of chirping crickets. Our community is on its last legs. I suppose people have moved on to other things -- DA2, role-playing, Formspring, the Fade Bar, and whatever else has been more enticing than being here.

I'm so sorry to see it go. I'm not leaving. I'll be the last one out to turn off the lights and shut the door.

7Corbies, I have severe, refractory panic/anxiety disorder. (For those who might be unfamiliar with the term, "refractory" means it's resistant to treatment so that I have break through attacks even though I'm on good meds.) Believe me, I know what you're talking about. As for what you have to say, you don't always have to say something deep and meaningful for it to matter. I mean, you don't have to go "symbol hunting under the bed" as one of my college professors used to say. It's okay to just mention one thing you liked. "I liked so and so's comment on such and such" or "Yeah, my Zevran says stuff like that too." And do come out of the cave, dear, you'll catch your death of cold in there.

Yikes. I know how bad that can be. My best friend has a milder form. Mine is PTSD. I like the "symbol hunting" I haven't heard that. I know, I just need to take a leap.

Yeah, the cave gets crappy WiFi and Gollum never puts the toilet seat back down.
