I Miss Our Community

I miss checking in every day to see what new madness has erupted in PoT. I miss the discussions and the fic and the art. I miss getting reviews and comments when I post rather than the sound of chirping crickets. Our community is on its last legs. I suppose people have moved on to other things -- DA2, role-playing, Formspring, the Fade Bar, and whatever else has been more enticing than being here.

I'm so sorry to see it go. I'm not leaving. I'll be the last one out to turn off the lights and shut the door.

Oh gods, Kai... Sooo broody and smexy and... well... poncey really, but still broody and cute lol. I wish the writers hadn't hurt that series in the bad place! It was awesome for the first 2/3 of season 1!

Actually the movies (I Worship His Shadow, Super Nova, Eating Pattern, Gigashadow) are season one, with Zev of B3K...then season to is the television season and it was actually very good. Season three is all fuckin' weird and heavy - Fire and Water, with Prince and - yeah, okay, it's heavy duty shit. Then season four takes place on earth, and then Kai dies - for real this time, no more protoblood etc, and the Lexx dies (but gets reborn), earth is destroyed, and yeah..though season four is somewhere between the first two seasons in terms of funny (there are killer zombie carrots that rectally invade you, c'mon... what isn't funny about that? It's soooo Troma movie a la Attack of the Killer Tomatos or Attack of the Killer Condoms - which is a German Troma film and absolutely just...zomfg...I need it in my life.) And he never really struck me as poncy, as that always has indicated a touch of lightheartedness to me, and he had nooooone. Then again the deadpan deliveries of "The dead do not [add action here]" was always a favourite...

Tehehe, I had forgotten all this stuff! It's been too long!! Killer Carrots... OK, that was a really funny episode *cackle* :D

I had no idea it went for more than 3 seasons! And yet I've seen the carrots... I'm confused.

I guess poncey is the wrong term, I was thinking more his look than his personality though. I kinda went off the series a bit when they got the new actor for Zev, not sure why. The flavor of the show changed after that. I still need to see the episodes that I missed though! I have seen the carrots ep, so I've obviously seen some of 4 and not realized. Stupid pay TV messing up the sequence.

Clearly the only thing to ease my confused state is to get my grubby mitts on the whole series and watch it all again! :D

I believe I have most of it on my portable, I'll check to see, and if there's a way to send the files, I'll do that. (I also have most of them on DVD - one of the few smart presents my mom got me over the years). Eating Pattern and Super Nova movies are usually hard to find. Rutger Hauer and Tim Curry FTW!
