The Dragon Age / Skyrim baby
This article is a month old, but I just found it and had to share, since it so perfectly sums up my feelings on both Bethesda and Bioware games. If they would merge to form a megatron-like super developer, with the Bethesda half working on environments and settings, and Bioware doing characters, I would likely never leave my computer again.
(oh, and happy 2012 everybody!)

Of course, if Valve does the QA testing, then we'll only get to play that game around two decades after they start XD

I don't mind skyrim, and as far as quests, graphics and generic content go it's far far better than dragon age, but where is my character to npc dialogue??? And Bathesda's idea of an ingame romance leave a LOT to be desired *sigh*.
I was really disapointed about an hour into skyrim actually because they got these awesome top notch voice actors in to do the dialogue, and the actors are totally wasted on the game.

I think the characters in Skyrim are a step up from the other Elder Scroll's cast, though. Definitely no where as memorable as the Dragon Age crew, but an improvement from even Oblivion. C'mon, Farkas and Vilkas? Ulfric? Paarthurnax and Alduin? Mjoll? There are some gems in there.

Amusingly, because Farkas' VA is one of the most used, his voice is EVERYWHERE in the game.
And Paarthurnax is just awesome. And Cicero. And most of the Thieves' Guild. And the hilarity that is Sheogorath. Then there's the College of Winterhold... green-tinted PC and random animal transformations FTW.

If EA is part of the picture, I think it would spell the end of Bethesda as well as Bioware.
I love the Dragon Age and Mass Effect universes, but I'm watching a slow painful decent into a bad bad place since EA joined with Bioware. I'd hate to see another awesome RPG producer get it's soul sucked out because of an extra 0 on a revenue projection and a name merger.
