This month it's our lovely twist_shimmy 's turn and I think you'll all agree it's a dooooozy :D.

This month's prompt:

Sensible justifications for game mechanics. Why only four party members? Why are Daveth and Jory naked at the Joining? What happens if someone else tries to equip Morrigan's amulet?

*blinks* Daveth and Jory are naked at the Joining? Not in any of my games they aren't.

They are if you remove all of their equipment before going to do the joining. It makes the whole scene much more amushing that's for sure.

I wondered if that was why people had them naked. But there's no need - all their equipment defaults into your backpack after the Joining whether you strip them or not.

I usually make Alistair strip too so Jory and Daveth don't feel bad. Since I usually run a gal, they are vying for my attentions...they are striking poses when the camera is not on them.

or in the alternative, they are really bad at Strip Wicked Grace (*grin*) which we were playing while waiting for the mages to make the Joining Potion.

Personally I'd rather poke my own eyes out than look at Jory - naked or otherwise - but whatever floats yer boat :)

Hubby asks, to add to the prompt questions, Why on Nightmare level is friendly fire is possible - "Hell, the way I play it's bloody likely." - and the baddies are super charged? And when on Easy/Normal these things don't happen?

Although, he will not write a piece or fill this prompt, he answers by saying "Nightmare level is for those who have completed the quest only in their dreams (Fade). By facing these challenges again, (i.e. for real) the characters have offended the gods/Maker/spirits-in-the-Fade and this penalty is their revenge. The gods both assist and buff the enemies while 'augmenting' your power in mischievous ways (Fen'Harel!).
