Calling All Elvish Pros!

Is there perhaps any sort of way to get a sort of... I dunno, translation dictionary thingy going on?  I don't know if there's any around anywhere, but I would love to have one handy for when it's needed, ya know?

If people have links that they use, send 'em my way pleeeeease!  I will love you for ever!

it's got as much elvish packed into it as i could manage, including parsing of minimal sources to provide the most language we can get our hands on. i'm still waiting for translations of the elvish songs from da2 to come out so i'll have more to work with. people have been giving me hell over merrill. (see the talk page)

There are weird, particular things that I am looking for actually... such as insults and casual conversation things. I guess it's hard to explain, but I can always just mix 'common' and elvish together I suppose XD

Haha! Well one question I would have is... do elves have curse words? Like... expressions for when one is surprised or caught off guard? Is there a word/term for that?

Also, is there a word or term for 'demon'? I can't seem to find something that would fit, but perhaps I am missing it.

hmmm... okay, let's see... surprised exclamations:
su'alas: dirt happens
harel could be used on its own as an expression of fear
na'lin: your blood, depending on the context

and... demons... er... let's see, they're spirits... elgar... how about elgar'harel - dreaded spirit? plural would be elgar'harelen.

well, i would think so... depending on the situation, of course. ma'harel - you scared me - or ar'harel - i'm scared i fear, actually - might work, too. if they don't quite fit your scenario, i could try and come up with others. :)

well....(*grin*) the qunari page has alphabet headers.

but what i was really wanting was more language, ie what they haven't given us outside of the game iself.

i merely wished there was more, i did not mean to inferr that what was so carefully presented was lacking (did i talk myself out of that one?)

hmmm... alphabet headers... i thought about them, but the qunari page seemed so fragmented with them in there. maybe i can find a way to format it that won't seem so... spread out.

i wish there was more, too. *sighs*

Holy pancake! I was going to ask Shimmy and Lenna where they got it all because I am starting to write Velanna more in my current fic and wanted to use more elvish in her ranting. YOU ARE AMAZING!
