So there's this thing I noticed: every other post on my journal, in this comm, or conversation via e-mail and IM has some iteration of "GODDAMNIT, ______!" occur when the discussion turns to DA2. Maybe you took Anders along on Fenris' personal quest, or Isabela on Aveline's, and the dialogue got dirty. Maybe it's the end of Act 2 and you just. Can't. Take it anymore.

I've created an icon set to capture that spirit. Sometimes depressing, sometimes headdesky, and occasionally worth ROFLing about? Damn right.

Included is a bonus for visser , scarylady , and anyone else I've traumatized recently. >:D

Have you heard the banter where Aveline tries to tell him to wear some decent clothes instead of skulking about Hightown in full plate and he just sort of pouts about how the lyrium lines on his flesh show through clothing so he'd look weird no matter what he wore?

I am trembling with anticipation. (Varric, Fenris and Aveline have such sweet, cute banter as a party. Whenever I'd switch over to Merril, Anders, and Fenris for a lark, it was like mood whiplash!)

Varric, Merrill, and Aveline are also pretty adorable. But, sick fuck that I am, I always chose the party with the banter that would be full of HATE.

I can't decide whether or not to download Sebastian! That MUHRDERED MOI FAMLEE image macro kills me as dead as his family every time, BUTTTT cash monies and I have enough assholes in the party, tyvm. The idea of a Sebastian, Fenris, and Anders party, though... I'd have to swap in Merril every now and then so everyone could criticize her life and her choices more thoroughly, but....

In my humble opinion, he's not worth it for the story.

He miiiight be worth it for the banter and for making his life miserable via rivalry. Also, the man has Andraste on his crotch. That's worth some cash right there, yo.

Somehow, playing the most disingenuous hypocrite of a mage in all of Thedas, I managed to get both Anders and Fenris to full friendship. I wonder if I could bluff my way into friendship with Sebastian, too... too bad I already finished Winter's playthrough...

I rolled a mage specifically for a Fenris rivalmance. He fell harder for her than a out-of-luck mobster in cement shoes and the two of them ran off into the sunset after burning Thedas to the ground.

I think Fenris secretly has a mage kink. "They all suck. Except you, because you do that thing that makes my skin shivery."

I ended up with Julian (mage, alignment Snarky Good) at full friendship with Anders, Fenris, Sebastian,Aveline (barely) and Varric (though the last is easy). I was at full rivalry with my brother, Ser Carver the Tool, and Merrill because I wasn't down with the blood magic. I lost Isabela because I didn't have her close to 50% either way.

My default party was Fenris, Anders, and Varric. I stopped taking Sebastian quickly because Julian didn't appreciate his attempts to "convert" his boyfriend. ("Bitch, I know why you want him on his knees, and it ain't to worship Andraste, unless you mean the one on your crotch.")

I will say that Sebastian trying to get Fenris to turn in Merrill and Anders was particularly amusing. Fenris was all, "Dude, I don't know if you noticed, but my man is an apostate, and if you piss him off he will fucking incinerate your ass."

I do not know why, but I suddenly want to see DA2 party banter as text messages.

This. I could not get enough of this. It also earned Seb his TIME OUT! I was actually surprised as fuck to hear Fenris say to Seb's suggestion that they turn Anders and Merrill in to the templars "You take that up with Hawke first". Fenris' mood shifts w/ Rhia could whip the head around on a statue of Andraste.

But having Varric and Anders and Merrill in party together, while the least friction-causing, was so depressing, because this was when I really got to see the world crumbling away beneath our feet...
