We've mentioned in discussion here and there how obvious a mage Hawke is in the game. Here is the middle-sized clothing-set (that you collect during Act 2). It's the perfect disguise! After all, who'd think a mage would wander around in priest robes?  *looks devious*

argh are those the robes of the overseer? I NEVER FOUND THOSE on my mage.

I found them early in Act 3 in some obscure bit of Sundermount.

They are sexy. I think off-duty Templars wear the same, so these are the 'stylish' robes that Alistair refers to.

I went with the Robes of the Notorious Pirate through Act 2, and then the Battlemage robes in Act 3. I did wear the ridiculous Champion robes for the end, and I was kind of pissed, because half the time I couldn't see my own face in cutscenes because of the damned dribble shelf.

I did discover that the Robes of the Spiral Eye bug affects all robes using that mesh, and NPCs as well as Hawke: putting that robe style on a dark-skinned male character will turn his hands white. This is the sort of thing that might have been fixed in QA if the QA lead hadn't been too busy making an ass of himself on the forums to do proper testing.

The Notorious Pirate jacket is great, I used it too, while I was collecting my Overseer set. I've managed to avoid wearing a mage robe for the entire game so far, which is good. Looking like a priest or off-duty Templar entertains me, though.

You can buy a set of robes that look pretty much exactly like that in Act 3 in the Black Emporium. Robes Of Unblemished Cleanliness.

You know I don't think I've ever gotten Robes Of The Overseer... where did you find these?

I bagged them in the middle of nowhere in Sundermount, early in Act 3. I have a suspicion that, if you don't find them during Act 2, like you're supposed to, that they turn up in a random chest in the next Act. But I might be wrong.

I found everything else of the Overseer, including the ridiculous hat, but I never did find the robes.

I was JUST LOOKING for some references of those robes on a dude! Gonna have to go looking for them in-game. :3

Priddy, aren't they? And I can see the attraction for Tannu. Robes that look like an off-duty Templar? Add those to the play chest.

They are rather sexy though, not gonna lie.
