I think this is the part where I throw my hands up and say, "AUGH!"

Yet another technical question for the mod-savvy folks out there. In my insane efforts to get my stupid, stupid Ser Gilmore mod to work (which were successful, eventually), I wound up reinstalling DAO. Now I'm having trouble making ANY of my cosmetic mods play nicely: at first my More Hairstyles mod got buggered, and now that I've finally got the bloody hair mod to work, I... can't seem to get the eyecolor mods to work. The skin complexions and the skin tones? Working just fine.

I've got Bidelle's Cosmetics, Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors, and I just installed PT's Replacement Eye colors to see if I could get that to work. No dice. And yes, I've used the chargenmorph compiler.

What am I doing wrong here, and how do I fix this?

Solved!

One thing I discovered was that if you have the graphics set to lowest resolution, the new eye colors won't show up. It'll just be a flat black. If you turn the graphics up just one tick, though, that should do the trick.

That would be the first thing to try, anyway, lol. If it's not that then I can't help.

Glad I could help! And yeah, I felt really dumb when I figured it out lol

To elaborate: I had just finished going through the gruesome process of getting the hair mod and PT and I can't even remember what else to work together in Steam. And then when the eye colors just would. not. work. I was literally crying in frustration.

And then my friend was like "try turning the resolution up just like one notch"

You get so wrapped up in these complex methods of getting everything to work nice that you don't even consider trying the stupidly simple things like that until somebody who isn't all worked up looks at it and goes "Um... why is this hard?" Or at least, that's what happened to me.
