Hah! I liked the typos as much as the intended simile ;D
I love, love, love getting comments on my fics--not going to lie about that. I do little dances when I get reviews. And I do get a little bummed when there's dead silence on my stuff, but I completely understand why it might happen. Before I started writing my own stuff, I very rarely commented on people's work--I'd read them, enjoy them, bookmark them, and move on. Now that I know how good it feels to get them, I comment more.
I always just tell myself that even though I might get total radio silence for a story I write, it doesn't mean no one's reading it or liking it. There could be dozens of people that read my fics and absolutely love them, but never chime in about it. And I'm totally cool with that. I just want people to enjoy stories that I've poured so much time and effort into. If they give me feedback, that's just an added bonus!
(And you may or may not be interested to know that I'm currently working on a Zev/Anders/Nathaniel chapter of Secret Desires)
