I found this on fanfic, but it wouldn't let me post a review for some reason. I love the tone of this, and the way you've translated the characters into modern times. Especially loved this line:

"And immediately regret thinking that beer was a good idea. Why is beer a good idea? It's made of hops. And yeast. It should be bread, not beer."

I am curious as to what vegemite is. I've seen it referenced in other places (not here), but no explanations.
