Summary: A reunion of sorts, and a few truths revealed.

I've never been one to stick to a posting schedule, I'm afraid; I like to get things posted as I finish them. (Otherwise I'm in danger of tweaking them too much!) Hope you enjoy the quick update.

Mods: Are there rules about what gets a series tag? I feel a little silly asking for one when the story is only going to be four parts, but it would be nice to keep them together. I'm good either way, though. Thanks!

I'm enjoying this story! However, my reaction to a drunk Alistair isn't sympathetic. He's drowning in a pity pool, he needs to swim to shore and pull himself out. Zevran threw him a life preserver, let's see if he's smart enough to use it!

I totally see your point of view regarding Alistair and having a lack of sympathy for him, especially at this point. As the writer, I tend to be least somewhat sympathetic, because I'm in his head. But I agree that his exile, and his distance from Elissa and the Wardens, and his choice to escape into alcohol, are very much self-imposed, and I hope that comes through in the story.
