So, it's pretty obvious from Act 1 that only Qunari have the recipe for black powder (aka gunpowder). But in Act 3 we're clearly searching for the ingredients to make black powder... salt peter, charcoal... etc. So how did Anders end up with the recipe? And how the heck did he make enough of it to blow up the Chantry? I mean, yes it is explosive, but it'd take a much more powerful explosive to do that sort of damage.  He'd have had to have put tons of it in the chantry!

It must've been enhanced with magic, I suppose.
