Thank you! I always felt like Lily really didn't like magic. Not in the way no one in Thedas seems to, but in a much more severe Chantry-like way. So it only made sense that if she did care about Jowan it would be despite his magic, not regardless of it. Even if their plan worked, and she went her whole life never knowing he was a blood mage, I don't think they ever would have been happy. No one could ever really deal with being seen as an inferior being or somehow tainted by their own partner forever, no more than someone could really overlook a trait they consider evil forever.
