I was horrified when I found out that was the only dialogue choice which would help him. I mean, the guy is in pieces, no-one with any heart would tell him to shape up in that moment.

It took me ages to come to terms with choosing that option, and it still annoys me that you can't be a supportive friend and make him a good king.
