Queen!Couslands don't often give him room to grow.

Yes, I agree, and even I tend to sway that way with my Cousland. It's like we can't help but want to be the Queen, dammit. Bow before me, and and then get outta the way! So, it's quite refreshing to see your AU fic take them all in other directions.
