how much a Templar could help a mage if they trusted each other. The germ of an idea tickled the back of his mind, but he had no spare attention to give to it.
Just as I was on the verge of remarking that this could be quite an interesting partnership dynamic, I read this line. Could we be looking at a proposed restructuring of the templar/mage relationship?
Maddy, NO! Let it go!
"Although, King Bhelen's request that I attend him in Orzammar was… fortuitously timed."
Oh dear. If it's time for Leonie's Calling, that could leave Alistair without a very valuable ally. It could also leave Anders as Warden-Commander, or perhaps second-in-command. Which could be explosive. And I mean that quite literally.
"a somewhat repellent eagerness in his voice as he asked if they could also ascertain the sex of unborn children."
Oh, ffs! That's just brilliant, Vartag, because the thing the dwarves desperately need with their dwindling birthrates is the ability to abort select fetuses for being the wrong sex.
And someday you really do need to give us the skinny on Leliana's past with Nathaniel.
