Forgive the delay. There was a bad storm here last night, and we spent a good chunk of the morning, uh, removing a tree from our car. What's weird is that our car is entirely undamaged. So! After a nap, I rose anew and sat to make this post.


Reader's Choice:
Congrats, polytene, for deciding that Alistair was the man our king could look like.

lenna_nightrunner  temporarily lost her mind over nithu 's suggestion that Alistair is a Levi's kinda guy. (Personally, I always pegged him for a Dockers man.)

"I'm waiting for my 501s to finish in the dryer." Ten words, and nithu lands an icon. Not bad for a day's work!


twist_shimmy  can't help it.  The longer she thinks about decantate 's interpretation of Alistair's inner monologue, the harder she laughs.

"IT HAS BOOBS AND IS LOOKING AT ME. I THINK I HAVE A ROSE IN MY PACK FOR THIS SITUATION." Seriously, this puts so many of my ~awkward game moments~ with my Dalish main in perspective.

Sure, if you want animated, I can give you animated. Let me show you a couple of examples:

This was done by going into the game and taking a video, hence the smooth action. This is harder to do, because what you want animated will need to be either something I can recreate in my game or something from a video you took and linked me.



This was done by animating a series of still images (and is not my favorite example ever, but hey.)

Ok, I've decided (and now that my first giddiness over winning a contest is over, allow me to say that your Old Spice bit made me lol, and I'm glad your car's ok).

I want an icon for my fic Vigilance, with Duncan and Sidona together, not necessarily animated. Do you have any tips on getting good screenshots? Also, Sidona and Duncan are never in game together. Do you need shots of both Duncan and Sidona or should I just worry about getting Sidona ones for you?

Okay, so. Assuming your Duncan is an unmodified, vanilla Duncan, we should be fine because I have like, sixty of the man. Screenies you can take that store in the Bioware screenshots folder are fine. Oh man, I am so bad at this, but looks good to me! Maybe the Vigilance bit should be in small letters? Across the bottom in white? idk, if that looks stupid, feel free to change. I am running on no sleep.
