I Miss Our Community

I miss checking in every day to see what new madness has erupted in PoT. I miss the discussions and the fic and the art. I miss getting reviews and comments when I post rather than the sound of chirping crickets. Our community is on its last legs. I suppose people have moved on to other things -- DA2, role-playing, Formspring, the Fade Bar, and whatever else has been more enticing than being here.

I'm so sorry to see it go. I'm not leaving. I'll be the last one out to turn off the lights and shut the door.

I tend to be a drive by fic-poster, I'll totally own up to that :) But one of the main reasons I don't join in a lot of discussions here is because they tend to be focused on DA2 stuff (which I'm more or less meh about).

Not saying that's a bad thing AT ALL, just that those aren't of interest to me, so I don't chime in. And it honestly never occurred to me to make discussion posts (bad habit from being in so many meme and rp comms). So maybe I'll try to think up some topics and start posting more.

I don't know why exactly. I guess I recognized a bunch of you guys from LJ and figured that I would be hitting a lot of the same audience twice. It actually never occurred to me that others who aren't on LJ might not see my stuff.

I didn't want to bore people! O.o

I shall remedy this over the next day or two!

Well, I don't hang out at any of the lj comms, so it would all be new to me!

I'm juuuust about to run out the door to go to work (stupid 6 day work weeks *sigh*) but when I get home I will set too, and post some stuff. I haven't done any long fics yet, it's mostly drabbles but it's a start.
