OMG see I am totally amazed at this stubborness, focus, drive or whatever it is. I am such a magpie when it comes to shiny, fun ideas that I really don't think I could sit down and write something that long. I'm kind of amazed that I'm writing a chapter fic at all - except that it's going to be pretty short and not nearly novel length at the rate I'm going.

Usually I cheat and write oneshots in a series that can hopefully stand along but all sort of tie together, because I've had bad experiences in the past where I just haven't been able to muster up the will to finish a large ongoing project and then felt like a total asshole when I disappointed the readers.
